| ELIGIBILITY |
Applicants should be Jamaican Nationals who: |
| a:) |
Have successfully completed the First Year of the LL.B programme at the University |
| b) |
Have attained distinction in at least two (2) subjects in the Qualifying Examinations; |
| c) |
Would not be more than 35 years of age on September 1 of the year of the award; |
| d) |
Possess good character and leadership qualities. |

| METHOD OF SELECTION |
The University of the West Indies shall appoint a panel via the Board for Undergraduate Studies comprising at least one representative from Dunn, Cox, Orrett & Ashenheim and one representative from the UWI Development and Endowment Fund. |
