DUNN, COX, ORRETT & ASHENHEIM SCHOLARSHIP

 

Terms of Award

NO. OF AWARDS: One (1) biannually
DURATION Two (2) years
VALUE J$75,000 per annum
ELIGIBILITY Applicants should be Jamaican Nationals who:
a:) Have successfully completed the First Year of the LL.B programme at the University
b) Have attained distinction in at least two (2) subjects in the Qualifying Examinations;
c) Would not be more than 35 years of age on September 1 of the year of the award;
d) Possess good character and leadership qualities.
 
METHOD OF SELECTION The University of the West Indies shall appoint a panel via the Board for Undergraduate Studies comprising at least one representative from Dunn, Cox, Orrett & Ashenheim and one representative from the UWI Development and Endowment Fund.

Application forms are available from the Office of the Senior Assistant Registrar (Student Affairs), Outreach & Awards, The UWI, Mona, Kingston 7 and should be returned by the deadline specified.
